Sara Khalid, APRN

Sara Khalid is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who earned her degree from Yale University. Specializing in adult psychiatry, Sara has extensive experience in the treatment of various mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD, among others.

Shortly after her undergraduate studies, she began a PhD program in Counseling Psychology at Purdue University. There, she developed an appreciation for a truly holistic approach to mental health care that recognizes the value of both therapy and psychiatric medications. This prompted a transition to Yale University where, in addition to her academic pursuits, she also received clinical training in psychiatric medication management at Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital and Connecticut Community Healthcare.

Sara aims to use her combined proficiency in both therapy and medication management to provide truly holistic care. She is unwaveringly committed to understanding each individual’s unique challenges while guiding them towards attaining their goals and having a fulfilling life. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment are not just to her profession but more importantly, to each individual she serves.
